I will be working in a group of 4 and in this group we will have to sucessfully make a music video. I will have to find out through research what ways are best to get my musician personality across and ways to make the video match the song and look professional. I will have to appeal to a certain demographic and psychographic whilst still trying to include other types of people and not exclude anyone.
I plan to look at music video's and the codes and conventions used, album artwork, MORE AND MORE
I will have to then make a storyboard using the codes and conventions i have learnt and make a music video. This will be very hard as i will be working in a group and we will all have different ideas therefore will have to compromise. We will hold regular meetings allowing us to get to know each other and our ideas.
It is important that we do not make the video so bad that the song is the only thing in peoples mind, yet we should aim not to make the video so complex that people hardly listen to the song. We can chose to make a conventional music video or a original music video this is essential to what we analyse and how we make our video.
